Passage Themes & Length:
Bank exams’ RC passages span diverse domains – finance/economics (e.g. Chinese economy), technology (e.g. digital finance, social gaming), environment, and social/management issues (work culture). Passages are generally 300–500 words. They often begin with a broad statement, provide real examples or data, then discuss challenges and a cautious conclusion. Recent IBPS/SBI exams show passages with practical anecdotes (e.g. farmers using mobile wallets) rather than purely abstract theory.
Typical Time Plan: ~3 min reading + 1 min per question (some questions may go faster if detail, others slower if inference). For example, a 400-word passage with 8 questions: ~3 min read, ~8 min answer, ~1 min review. Adjust if passages have 2–3 sets.
